Here at Colourstat we offer a wide selection of document binding systems to suit your work and your budget. Our binding service is carried out in-house and generally ‘while you wait’. We are happy to discuss your needs and advise you on the best type of binding to suit your requirements. Here are just some of the different types of document and booklet binding methods we use.

Wire Binding

One of the most popular forms of document binding used mostly in commercial environments which will allow the document to opened flat or rotated back onto itself. Wire Binding comes in a selection of colours and can be used for large bulky documents as well as just a few pages. Whether your document is A3, A5 or smaller wire binding will give you a versatile finish, add colour co-ordinating or PVC cover and you will have a very professional finished product at a very affordable price.

Perfect Binding

The ultimate professional look, used mainly for manuals, magazines and books. This uses glue to fuse the edges into your own pre-printed cover for that bespoke look.

Saddle stitching

Again, a very cost effective form of document binding with many uses from reports to orders of service. This system is quick and effective.

Plastic Comb

This is rather similar to wire binding where a document can be laid flat or rotated ideal in the commercial environment with the added advantage that pages can be re-placed without damaging the comb.

Thesis or Legal Binding

This is a secure form of binding usually used within Universities and occasionally for legal documents where pages cannot be removed. So, the next time you need documents printed and bound please give us a call to discuss the various options suitable for your work.
